Beneath the Bark is a small family business in Lawrenceville, VA that has been in operation since 1998. We provide custom work, whether sawmilling, planing, or in moulding needs. One of our mills is portable, enabling us to travel to your site. We have a variety of materials available for purchase, from heart pine, black walnut, oaks, and cypress, to other specialty items like Virginia Cedar. A few of the projects we've helped create with our lumber include flooring, restoration work in staircases, and cutting materials both for homes and a barracks building at a local Virginia Historical park.
