On behalf of Waynesboro Parks & Recreation, Trees Virginia, and the Virginia Department of Forestry, we are pleased to present the annual Waynesboro Tree Workshop "Reveling in the Magnificence of Trees" and ArborMaster® Training (.  There is something for everyone at this workshop and regardless of track, you will be hearing from arboriculture and urban forestry experts. 

The workshop is divided into two tracks:  Lecture and ArborMaster®.  You should register for only one track.

Lecture Track Presentations:  (Best Western Inn and Conference Center)

The lecture track is divided into two sessions of indoor lectures and outdoor demonstrations and is geared towards those working in municipalities, government agencies, and private industry. 

ArborMaster Track Presentation:  (Ridgeview Park)

  • This one-day program will review both single rope climbing techniques (SRT) and doubled rope climbing techniques (DDRT), the advantages and disadvantages of each and methods for hybridizing systems.

The ArborMaster® track is held at Ridgeview Park and is an outside, all day track that teaches hands-on techniques and skills vital for tree climbers, groundsmen, and anyone in the production side of tree work.
