Wilkinson's Woodworking was established in 1997 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. I have been working with wood my entire life. Building my first piece with my father in 1962 and my first solo piece in 1972. After a career in the Navy I decided to work for myself. Almost all of my work is made from solid wood. When a piece requires a large panel or is a customer asks, I will use plywood. This is veneer core plywood. I will not use medium density fiberboard (MDF) or particle board which are both commonly found in low end furniture manufactured overseas.
